This dude who used to work at my current workplace has started a new nz-based company, called Ponoko. Basically, you design something cool, and send them your blueprint. They use some big fricking laser to make the beast for you, and then ship it back to you.
If you’re happy with it, you can list it on their site. Then, whenever someone buys it from the site, they manufacture it, and take care of shipping and everything … and you get your $, for very little effort.
